ampers live in attractive wooden cabins with screens, windows, and limited electricity. The boys are divided by age and grade, living in groups of 4 to 7 with one or two live-in counselors. Three platform tents are available for groups of 12 & 14-year olds.

The main buildings of Agawam include Governor Hall (reconstructed in 2002), with its large open floor area, fireplace, stage, ping pong, foosball, bumper pool, and backgammon tables. Governor Hall serves as site of our weekly Vespers service, and provides a great indoor space for large camp gatherings or for skits on rainy days.

Meals are enjoyed in our spacious, Mason Hall (constructed in 1994), which features a lofted ceiling, fieldstone fireplace, and a spectacular view of camp. Attached to the dining room is a modern kitchen; beneath is an open recreation area for active rainy day games.

Agawam's busy sports program is well supported by our facilities: 3 clay tennis courts (2 lighted), 1 all-weather tennis court, basketball court, baseball/softball field, 3 soccer/lacrosse fields, volleyball court, badminton court, 60 meter archery range and a 50 foot rifle range. The large open central campus invites constant play.

Arts & Crafts and Photography programs share a conveniently located studio, and the popular Woodshop is situated in a separate building.

Our popular Ropes/Challenge Course is has both high and low elements, all supervised by trained facilitators. The low elements are spread through the wooded parts of our campus and the high elements are located at the far reaches of camp’s property, allowing for a truly special cabin experience.

The Trip Department is proud of it's updated Trip Room with separate rooms for packing-out trip equipment and food and a great deck for trip preparation classes and meetings. The outdoor living activities area is located in the woods along our lakefront and has its own nature hut and teaching area. A Nature Trail and outpost camping areas complete this activity area.

The rest of our 1800' lakefront is given over to aquatics. Campers store swimming gear in the boathouse, which is located next to our sandy beach, featuring a new H-Dock with shallow water teaching area, five 25-yard swimming lanes, and a deep water area with diving board and float. Separate docks are laid out along the shore for sail-boarding, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, rowing and fishing.
